Two ways of viewing advertising…

Advertising is dross. It’s the rubble a mad and opportunistic margin of humankind kicks up in its desperation to exploit the real or perceived needs of another.  Creativity is our greatest birthright and we’re wasting it.

Advertising is an interesting cultural byproduct worth studying. One form of human expression has no value over another, right or wrong, and this form of expression is the inevitable result of the civilization we have, good or bad.  Let’s look at it, and celebrate those moments when creativity, in any form, prevails in producing genuine meaning.
